Immediately after the guideline on allowing Van Phuc Ward People’s Committee to organize the Culture, Tourism and Commerce Week of Van Phuc Trade Village 2018 was approved by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Industry and Trade of Hanoi City and the People’s Council and People’s Committee of Ha Dong District, the Party Committee of Van Phuc Ward promulgated the Decision No. 70-QD/DU dated June 01, 2018 on establishing the Steering Committee of the Culture, Tourism and Commerce Week of Van Phuc Trade Village 2018 with 11 members in which leaders of the Culture and Information Division and the Economic Division of Ha Dong District were invited to participate in the steering and consultancy; at the same time, promulgated the Notice No. 28-TB/DU dated June 01, 2018 on allocating tasks for members of the Steering Committee.
Van Phuc Ward People’s Committee promulgated the Decision No. 106/QD-UBND dated June 20, 2018 on establishing the Organizing Committee of the Culture Week with 48 members, at the same time promulgated the Decision No. 107/QD-UBND dated June 20, 2018 on establishing 10 sub-committees serving the Culture Week; members of the Organizing Committee and Sub-committees are allocated with specific and clear tasks.
The Organizing Committee of the Culture Week organized 35 conferences to propagandize and organize the deployment plan of the Culture, Tourism and Commerce Week of Van Phuc Trade Village 2018 from the ward to residential areas, business households and households. Of this, in 06 sessions, the Organizing Committee directly worked with the people and business households in the ward to disseminate about the purpose, implication and content of the organizing plan of the Culture Week 2018 and listened to the direct comments from the people on the deployment of the Culture Week. In addition, 12 residential groups in the locality organized propaganda plans at the monthly meetings of the cells and residential groups.
The People’s Committee of the Ward issued 27 documents guiding and implementing the organization plan of the Culture, Tourism and Commerce Week of the Trade Village 2018.
