The Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Culture and Tourism, Department of Tourism of Hanoi City, Culture Center of Hanoi City and the Culture and Information Division of Ha Dong District supported Van Phuc Ward in introducing and promoting about the Culture, Tourism and Commerce Week of the Trade Village 2018 on the web portals of the Department of Tourism, Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi city, on websites of travel agents, press agencies, televisions, etc. The Department of Tourism of Hanoi City assigned a mobile propagation team to support to the locality to deliver over 20,000 leaflets in walking streets, Hoan Kiem Lake Area, tourist sites in the City, instructed travel agents to introduce and propagate to visitors about the activities of the Culture Week of Van Phuc Trade Village.
The activities of the Culture, Tourism and Commerce Week of Van Phuc Trade Village attracted over 30 press agencies and televisions to organize the propagation and report news regularly and constantly about the Culture Week such as: Television channels VTV1, VTV3, VTV4, Vietnam National Defense Television, Electronic People’s Newspaper, Electronic Tourism Newspaper, Urban Economic Newspaper, etc.
The Ward People’s Committee installed a speaker system with a total number of 35 sound speakers distinguished in the form of: box speakers, rock-imitated or panda-imitated speakers at the Silk Street and religious and belief establishments of the ward, played light music and chamber music to create attractiveness to serve the people and visitors, at the same time serve the security warning in the Culture Week Throughout the Culture week, the speaker system has basically met the set requirement and purpose and received the positive feedbacks from the people and visitors about the aesthetics and made contribution to ensuring the safety and security during the organizing period of the Culture Week.
The information and promulgation sub-committee has developed 12 programs, 15 pieces of news and 20 articles and special issues, broadcast for 50 turns on the speaker system and web portal of the ward about the purpose, implication and activities in the Culture Week; mobilized business households and the people to deliver over 20,000 leaflets about the content, time and location of the activities in the Culture Week to domestic and international visitors.
Install 02 public signboards at the beginning of Silk Street and the administrative center of the ward, 12 small signposts at the roads to guide visitors to the sites and places of activities during the culture week.
Organize the decoration for ceremonies with 120 banners, 16 panels and 50 string flags. Guided and directed the agencies, units, residential groups and households in the locality to decorate offices, public areas, houses, hang Party’s flags and national flags, lanterns and flowers create festive atmosphere and the urban aesthetics.
Thanks to good propagation, within 7 days of the Culture Week, the propagation activities attracted a large number of visitors from everywhere to attend. With about 20,000 turns of visitors arriving in Van Phuc per day in the Culture week, it has marked the success of the Culture-Tourism Week of Van Phuc Village and proved the importance of the information, communication, press and television, especially the propagation effects via the social network.
